The State Mint of Baden-Württemberg is a modern state-owned business producing 38% of circulation coins and 40% of collectors and commemorative coins of the Federal Republic of Germany. What was in the past small workshops have been turned into innovative and leading production facilities that successfully maintain and expand their market position thanks to state-of-the-art technology and modern management. One thing however stays the same as it was 600 years ago, coins and medals are manufactured to the highest artistic and technical standards.
Our present product and service portfolio includes:
- circulation, collector's and commemorative coins for Germany
- other sovereign products such as official seals for notaries, schools etc.
- coin money for other states worldwide
- a wide range of art medals, partially with individual engraving, e.g. birth medals, state medals and city medals
- packaging services such as medal sets for companies or other mints
- high-tech components, e.g. for the automotive industry
